Power over Tradition

Updated: Sep 29, 2020

The believer being a part of a church of this day and age, isn’t forbidden. However, a church without faithful believers is an assembly of nothingness.

Therefore, let us as individuals seek the Lord earnestly and listen to His call, in order to avoid putting the emphasis of the power of God with the marking of a building, or a denomination. Instead, may we come to the realization of knowing His power is the evidence of a Spirit filled individual. In that, wherever we gather, there He will be with us.

In the words of Christ, behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and He with me. (Revelation 3:20)

The Lord Jesus Christ isn’t knocking on the door of a church or denomination. Christ is standing at the door of the individual believer, which is the heart of the believer, wanting to come in, to be one with the believer.

So then, wherever we are as a believer, the wayside or a church. Christ shall be our focus. The evidence shall be His power, but not the tradition of gathering on a Sunday, or a specific day of worship.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.

Open the eyes to my heart Lord
