The benefit of wisdom is eternal, but the earning of life's necessity is temporary.
With a desiring heart, the turning of pages is the renewal of the mind.

THE BOOKSHELF OF P.S. WILMOT

Vision often begins where a brush meets a canvas. Now, that same spirit of exploration extends into the written word.
This space exists for those who seek to look behind the scenes of the stories being told. It is a home for the latest releases, author updates, and commentary on the themes that transition from paint to prose. Because the benefit of wisdom is eternal, while the earning of life's necessity is temporary, every page turned serves as an opportunity for the renewal of the mind.

Bridge Over Pond: Reflection Clock - Book II

Where Time Bends And Hearts Unite

Welcome back to the canopy. In Book One, we witnessed the Fall. We watched as three strangers were ripped from a world of artificial noise and dropped into a world of natural silence. For forty days, their existence was defined by a single, desperate goal: to endure. But endurance is not living; it is merely refusing to fail. Yet, in that refusal, they learned the first law of the Grove: Before you can build up, you must root down. As we open the pages of Book Two, the landscape shifts. From the battle of the bear … we stand now at a threshold.

Miscellaneous Of A Walking New Man

"A monumental task presented in book form." A look at the cover art for one of my earlier and most extensive works, Miscellaneous of A Walking New Man. The charcoal drawing features a man in quiet reflection alongside a quill and inkwell, setting the tone for the deep dive inside. This 450+ page volume is a massive collection that covers it all: Faith, Science, Physics, History, and Current Events. With a 150+ topical index, it addresses the tough questions of life and the hard sayings of the Scriptures. It is a true cornerstone of my writing journey! In fact, even years after its publication, I frequently find myself returning to its pages, utilizing the extensive index as a personal reference guide.

Through the Scriptures. The Gospel According to Matthew

A verse-by-verse journey across the greatest bridge in Scripture.
As the fortieth book of the Bible, the Gospel of Matthew serves as the vital connection between the Old and New Testaments. It arrives after 400 years of silence to prove that God's delay is never a denial, but a preparation for a great revelation.
While frequently referenced from the pulpit, the deep truths of Matthew are rarely explored to their fullest. Through the Scriptures: The Gospel According to Matthew provides a brilliant, verse-by-verse expository commentary designed to bring profound clarity to the Word.

Football: A Field Report

Enter Amerelmsford: a New England masterpiece of woodsmoke, sourdough, and deep-state conspiracies. In this shadow-crossed time capsule, the 21st century is merely a thin digital glaze over a world of iron, stubbornness, and ancient secrets.

Four digital natives are on a mission to unearth a 1968 government payload, a prototype weapon of immense power they believe is being guarded by a network of "Senior Wardens," including their own mothers. While the boys treat a grandmother's sourdough recipe like a high-level security threat that needs satellite-level tracking, Airley Rose Sherman stands as the only weighty balance to their out-of-this-world thinking. To her, a town gathering is just soup and tradition; to them, it is a high-stakes tactical handoff.

Nothing highlights this "temporal friction" better than their own heated debates:

Gus: "You see a punt, Airley. I see a long-range delivery of a payload."

Airley: "It's a ball, Gus. It's filled with air."

Gus: "Is it? Or is it filled with the collective consciousness of the American public? That's why it's shaped like a lemon, dude. It's a sour truth."

As they unearth the truths in their world, the boys are about to face their ultimate nightmare: a physical world where you can't just swipe the screen to get a status update. Their biggest threat isn't a shadow agent; it is the sheer digital horror of a reality with no refresh button.

Footprints in the Whiteout

STORIES OF GRACE, CLARITY, AND THE QUIET WORK OF THE HEART

When the familiar path disappears and the compass shatters, the true journey begins.

In the heart of a blizzard, the whiteout is more than weather, it is an eraser of self-made plans. It is a quiet, relentless force that strips away the noise of a busy life to reveal the true state of the human heart.

From the wind-swept peaks of the Rockies to the tense threshold of a frontier cabin, these stories weave together parables of faith, mercy, and a quiet defiance of the status quo. Meet solitary hunters who learn that fixating on a prize can isolate a soul in a cold place of its own making. Encounter a fierce woman guarding her hearth, a wandering cowboy who’d spent too long outrunning himself would say the lady was finer than frog hair split four ways, but she had been bolted together with horseshoe nails and vinegar. Her hospitality opens the door, but her discernment keeps the rifle close.

Beyond the frontier, spend an afternoon with a timid cat paralyzed by its own reflection, or walk alongside a young mind realizing that the heaviest storms are often the ones raging silently within. With over fifty unique characters, these tales suggest that the fiercest storms are not meant to destroy us, but to refine us.

This collection is a quiet resistance to a world overflowing with noise yet starving for meaning. In an age where abundance breeds emptiness and glowing screens promise connection but deliver only hunger, these stories call you back to the places where warmth is still real. Follow the footprints through the whiteout, and you will find that the soul is refined not by what dazzles, but by what endures; warmth, presence, and the quiet grace that waits where real life is lived. In the fiercest winters, you may discover that the storm does not take from us at all; it returns what we forgot to treasure.

Includes over 30 original artworks and The Architecture of Restoration: An expansive, illustrated journey into the heart of the stories.
