- Why did God take you out of Egypt? In General discussions ·November 1, 2018Egypt represents the world and its desires. The people of Israel in despite of their lament, pain, contempt and humiliation felt that they had everything in Egypt (we see it in Exodus 16: 2-3) in the desert brought to light their desires and the deepest of their hearts. but they did not remember the words that God told Moses in exodus 7:16 .. the purpose was to serve the almighty God in the middle of all the processes in the middle of the desert; we do not understand that serving God is celebrating a feast for Jehovah Exodus 5: 1, now to serve God is to obey Him Exodus 15:26 He does not take us out to fulfill our desires or projects, the whole purpose for which He takes us out of the world is for Him and the purposes of Him (Colossians 1:16) wonderful God and the first step is to give your whole heart to Proverbs 23:26 we must refuse, deny ourselves to our desires and wait for his voice and direction .. - CAREER FOR LIFE !!!!!In General discussions ·February 2, 2019When we observe in the Olympics the most important games that are held every four years where all countries join in the same feeling, of joy, of sharing a passion for sports, among them there is a special one Racing speed between 100 meters up to 5,000 meters impressive. To get to be in this competition you need the person preparation, dedication, years of training, and above all surpass other participants in the preliminaries of the country you represent, it is also a long and hard process, you face the pressures of family, of society to get to be at the level of competition and be classified with the sole objective of being the winner and have the honor of being exalted before an entire nation or the entire world for being the Winner. Good in the quintessential manual that is the Bible. God reveals to the apostle Paul that there is also a race in Christ, one of the most important and transcendental for Man "THE RACE FOR ETERNAL LIFE", this is found in Hebrews 12: 1-2 12 Therefore, we also, having around us so great a cloud of witnesses, let us shed all weight and the sin that besets us, and let us run with patience the race that lies before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of the faith, which the joy set before him suffered the cross, despising the reproach, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. As in an Olympic race, there are spectators who observe every step in detail, every decision we make, and this often leads to stress, anxiety, doubt, fears and that leads to a burden to please society and we may be on the verge of falling in sin against God for society and the currents of this world that every day, the fear is extinguished to please God. nd the word reveals to us that not to deprive us of these things can distract us from the goal and lose the career that salvation race that is by faith in Jesus Christ (the son of God) our savior, why does he tell us with patience? because in the cares of this world, of material prosperity, the vanity of this world of wanting to have everything according to society makes us successful, it can take us away from what really counts and is the Presence of the living God, through sacrifice of his son and the Holy Spirit that is the promise The comforter .. God exhorts us in this small portion of the word not to desist, do not faint, be strong, be brave, trust in God, look to Jesus Christ, do not mind suffering for us. Jesus saw the end of the race for Glory of his name and for the salvation of our souls. let us follow his example, let us follow this race with the only reward of being with God as our God. Revelation 21: 3-4 3 And I heard a great voice from heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them; and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.4 God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will be no more death, nor will there be any more weeping, or crying, or pain; because the first things happened. Hallelujah. Jesus lives and reigns forever93125

- Proverbs 26:4In A variety of Expositions ·October 17, 2018Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. The verse above, is saying if you answer a silly question from a person who's up to no good, you are just as silly as the person who asked the question. This is plainly understandable. However, when we read a little further, the preceding verse gives another take. (Proverbs 26:5) Answer a fool according to his foolishness, that he not be wise in his own eyes. This is not a contradiction with verse four which urges us to answer not a fool, in comparison with verse five; which state, answer a fool according to his foolishness. In essence, both verses are consistent with their instructions for the believer toward the fool and their foolish question. The idea of both verses being consistent is that, not all things spoken to us by a fool need be responded to. However, let us be wise and allow not the fool to get away with his or her foolishness less they think they are wise. To sum it up, we have ears to hear, eyes to see, but with the mouth we have a single tongue. What goes out of the mouth, cannot be easily returned. Let us observe more, by what we see. Let us listen more, by what we hear, but speak only when it is of importance.8591
