Through this we become aware of His purposes toward us. The names and titles serve as a discernment for communication to a better fellowship with Him. For instance, the name Jehovah-Jireh serves more than a label. In this name God reveals Himself to us as our provider . During Biblical times in most cases, the names given indicated faith and hope or the expectation of the individual that is named. So then, with God, we know He is Almighty , which is translated in the Hebrew Language as El-Shaddai . In times of infirmities, we know He is Jehovah-Rophe , our healer . During the time of perplexity in an uncertain world, the believer shall say the Lord is my Shepherd - Jehovah-Rohi . In darkness, He is my light, Jehovah-'Ori . Even in our idiosyncrasy, we know God is El-Kanna , which is translated in the English as Jealous. However, the jealousy spoken of here is not the same as envy or the strong desire of things that belong to others. Rather the jealousy here, when apply to God, it has the sense of intense love and commitment toward us. For we know He is Jehovah-Go'el , our Redeemer . Names of God Back to Names

  • The Tree of Knowledge & The Tree of Life

The greatness of the Word of God is its integrity, by which it is without error nor deception. Our lack of understanding is a path to learn. Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The greatness of the Word of God is its integrity, by which it is without error nor deception. If contradictions arise, it is the reader’s lack of perception. So then, let it be an opportunity to gain a better insight. The passages below are some of that which we avert, for the lack of understanding, but with a willing mind, they shall be made known. The tree of Knowledge How we perceive knowledge, will determine how knowledge is used for the individual, or the direct impact he or she will have on others. Knowledge is to know, but we can only know when we are presented with that which is to be known. Therefore, human knowledge is limited, for its dependency to a source that must serve as a platform to impart knowledge through experience and observation. Consequently, the origin of Knowledge is the source of all things. The source of all things is the beginning of all things, and this we know; God is the beginning of all things. The lack of understanding is not a validation to dismiss the unknown as a fable. Without reaching out to that one source, though knowledge is obtained at times, yet it cannot perpetuate its true function. For many years, men wondered if there were others like him on the other side of the world. With the increase of knowledge, the world is as one, yet men tried to murder one another. Before the modern Continental means of transportation, men long for the opportunity to reach out to others from across the world. With the introduction of modernized travels by the gain of knowledge, men however, turn to use this means to terrorize others. Though knowledge is present, knowledge is corrupted, for men have forsaken the source of the origin of knowledge which is from God. The realization of good and bad, is the step toward knowledge. For how can the abuser stops the act of abuse and battering without knowing wrong from right, or good from bad? Therefore, society must be presented with the unknown, that the unknown should be made known; which is, in us dwell nothing that is good. Then will the heart cries out, a wretched man I am! Who shall deliver me out of the body of this death? (Romans 7:24) but blessed is the assurance of God; for He has looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death. A knowledge possessed must be a knowledge use in wisdom. Until it is rightly used, the increase of it will lead to the diminish of society, and the bondage of men. The understanding of men expands, but the moral responsibility among men diminish, and the fine line between right from wrong has faded. As it was with our ancestors of old, out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; The Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil . (Genesis 2:9) However, therein the Garden they forfeit, the knowing of God for the knowledge of carnal indulgence. Today, may we turn to the new: Tree of knowledge A fix location does not bind it; its roots are like living waters springing forth into men, purging the unconsciousness of the mind, through the renewal of God’s conscience. Through disobedience to the will of God, our ancestors partake of the tree of knowledge, for a self-gratification. Thereby, sin enters the world, they became aware of what they have lost, and what they could have had. Today, as descendants of the fallen race of Adam, the degradation and the penalty of sin are reverted through obedience to God, by a New Tree of Knowledge. This tree of Knowledge, is the Cross of Christ . Wherewith, He (Christ) bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we were healed. (1 Peter 2:24) Dead to sin is being freed from sin. To live unto righteousness , which means doing that which is right. Through His stripes we are healed ; that is to say, Christ suffered that we may be healed, body and soul. Then shall we receive the Tree of Life . Knowing this, (He, Christ) having blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His Cross (Colossians 2:14) Gladly will the heart rejoice and, sing a song to the Lord, in the words on The Talleys. His heart was broken, mine was mended He became sin, now I am clean. The cross He carried bore my burden. The nails that held Him set me free. His scars of suffering brought me healing He spilled his blood to fill my soul. His crown of thorns made me royalty His sorrow gave me joy untold Until society can see beyond its pride of self-ambition, and the fulfilling of temporal gratifications; that must be satisfied even at the expense of others. Though the progression of knowledge manifest at times, but until knowledge serves as a discernment between right and wrong; good and evil, the love of the many shall grow cold. However, with the Cross, men shall behold the price that was paid, for the remission of sin. Great was the price, therefore great is the degradation wherewith men must be elevated from. Christ gives Himself as a sacrifice to save all, who will believe. Blessed are those who believe to receive the pardon, but for those who reject, the awareness of the degradation of their guilt is present; and the accountability thereof. The Tree which Christ died thereon, to give us life; this is the tree of knowledge. The acceptance of such is life. She is a Tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retains her. (Proverbs 3:18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but to us who are saved, it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18) ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© > Related topics < Share

Appreciating the Present for Deeper Understanding Progressus: A Call for Mindful Movement Beyond the Emotional Maze At times, it is not essential to gaze far into the distance and comprehend everything at once. Instead, it is more meaningful to appreciate what is immediately before our eyes and to cherish the present moment. This approach allows for a deeper understanding, a discernment that speaks to the m ind rather than just the heart . It calls for reasoning , rather than overthinking , as the heart can become a whirlpool controlled by emotions. Shall we then forsake emotions and live without feelings? No, but what good is an emotion if it only serves as a downward spiral to one’s mental state? An individual can become trapped in a myriad of unanswered questions and thoughts, isolated from their physical surroundings and their interactions with others. Others who care about them, but when emotion replaces reason, the need to see the good in others is replaced by a focus on self. A self on the verge of collapse is a self that cannot be pleased. It sees torment in simple things, rather than seeing beauty in the progression of things. However, as the heart is pruned to emotional sentiments, so is the mind in the same individual. On the contrary, the mind is capable of reasoning rather than constantly reverting to the emotions of the heart. When one learns to reason in a given situation, instead of succumbing to a whirlpool of emotions, this is progress. True progress is marked by improvement. The term “progress” originated from the Latin word “progressus ,” signifying advancement or improvement. E mbodying the essence of transitioning from one state to another, ideally for the better. Let’s strive to transition from our current emotional state by improving our reactions to experiences. From reacting emotionally to reasoning for change. Remember, when we reason, we consider others. When we react based on emotions, our feelings are primarily self-centered. As humans, we are threefold beings - body , soul , and spirit . These three distinct entities work together, just like our emotions and our capacity to reason. If we take accountability. Re asoning Beyond Overthinking: A New Perspectiv e. Appreciating the Present for Deeper Understanding Sometimes, it’s not necessary to understand everything at once. Instead, it’s more rewarding to appreciate what’s right in front of us and cherish the present moment. This approach fosters a deeper understanding that resonates with the mind, not just the heart. It encourages reasoning over overthinking, as emotions can often cloud our judgement. The heart , often seen as the cradle of emotions, can lead us into a whirlpool of feelings, sometimes causing us to lose sight of our surroundings and the people who care about us. On the other hand: T he mind , associated with rationality and logic, offers a pathway to reason, allowing us to navigate through emotional turbulence and make progress. By transitioning from emotional reactions to reasoned responses, we can achieve personal growth and improved mental health. This balance between the heart and mind is the essence of ‘Reasoning Beyond Overthinking’. • What is the Bronze Serpent? | Awalkingnewman

Before the Cross of Christ, man looks to the future through a symbolic representation, such was the bronze serpent. Bronze typifies judgment, Christ took our judgment upon Himself on the Cross. The serpent typifies a curse, Christ became a curse on the Cross that we may be free from the penalty of the curse. The bronze serpent All through Christianity, and the world in par, the serpent has been a type of enmity toward men, and men contempt through fear toward the serpent. For some, it represent danger, while for others, its slyness is the embodiment of evil. Be that as it may, the serpent isn't a dove among people of faith, therefore, it is castout. All through the Scriptures, the mention in reference to this creature has been primarily of negative implications. It was used as a tool of Satan to deceive man in the beginning, even Satan is called that old serpent. With these and more, the image of the serpent isn’t that which is holy, but the contrary. However, the topic of this exposition is the bronze serpent. Taken from the fourth book of the Bible, the book of Numbers , therewith we read, the LORD said unto Moses, make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole . . . And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole . . . those that look upon it shall, live. So then, the question arises in the mind of the reader. What is this serpent that Moses made, and why would this creature of enmity be used as a focus of life? For the Lord said, in the beginning, I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. (Genesis 3:15) For the understanding of many Scriptures, the reader must read the account as a whole, by understanding that which perceive the passage of interest, and that which comes thereafter. In this case, the preceding record must first be understood. Through the exposition, we will better understand the meaning thereof, and how it relates to us today. The time of our text is the Exodus from Egypt , by the children of Israel , from slavery to freedom . The place of the text is from Mount Hor , to Arabah – A word meaning (burnt up) the location indicates a deep-sunken valley, or trench. Therewith, their journey continues, from the mountain, symbolic of victory, now they found themselves in the valley of depression. How we perceive situations in life, will determine the outcome of our days in the valley to a height of success. Before descending the path of Arabah, Israel had won a battle against the king of Arad , who Instigate a war against them. Despite being "free slaves," the Lord gives them the victory against all odds. As they were now faced with new opposition from their surroundings, they no longer remember the testimony of their victory. Instead, like most Christians today, their focus is on the problems, rather than the solution which is God. And the people spoke against God, and against Moses, why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul hates this light bread. And Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many people of Israel died. (Numbers 21:5-6) The text reads, and Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people. Not as though it was the desire of the Lord, but in reality, we live in a perilous world. The protection of the Lord is our shield from the danger thereof. By faith and gratitude, we abide under the shadow of His protection. When gratitude is replaced with ungratefulness for the lack of praise, faith shall be overshadowed with unbelief. Through unbelief, the individual will backslide from God’s provision and protection, thereby exposing themselves to the danger of this world and the fiery serpents. The people came to Moses, and said, we have sinned , for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that He take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, make thee a fiery serpent , and set it upon a pole : and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten , when he looks upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass , and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld (look at) the serpent of brass, he lived . (Numbers 21:7-9) The question still arises, knowing the serpent is the symbol of a curse and herein it is the result of sin, so then how, or why did it serve as the focus of life to the sinners? To further understand this is to get an insight to the core of Christianity, which is the Cross of Christ . The reason for the Cross of Christ was for the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ in place of sinful humanity. The wages of sin is death, but Christ as the Gift of God, He died on the Cross for our sins. Therewith He took the sin of the world upon Himself. He paid the penalty of sin that we may live a life without the suffering, pain and the condemnation of sin. He became a sin sacrifice that He may break the curse of sin . Thus, it is written, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangs on a tree. (Galatians 3:13) Before Christ could hang on a tree (The Cross) for our sins, God instructed Moses to construct a bronze serpent , which typify the curse of sin and suffering. The LORD said unto Moses, make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looks upon it, he shall live. In essence, those in the wilderness who looks to the bronze serpent were looking with hope for the future Messiah. Since it was sin that causes men to die, men must now look at the sin in which Christ has taken upon Himself that men may live. The look spoken of here is to direct one's attention in hopeful expectation to live. Such is the Cross of Christ. Before the Cross of Christ, man looks to the future through a symbolic representation , such was the bronze serpent . Bronze typifies judgment , Christ took our judgment upon Himself on the Cross. The serpent typifies a curse , Christ became a curse on the Cross that we may be free from the penalty of the curse . At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day! As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man (Christ) be lifted up: (John 3:14) The lifted up here, speaks of the Cross. As He was nailed to the Cross, the debt we owed was nailed and never to be recorded against us. He was lifted up between Heaven and Earth with His arms open, as a mediator between God and man. For He said, if I be lifted up (The Cross) I will draw all men unto me. In life's battle, may we lift up the Lord as our banner. Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-Nissi , meaning the Lord is our banner. Though He hung on the Cross as a sin sacrifice, but through sacrifice, He became life to all who will believe. Those who came before us, they look at symbols and types representing the Cross of Christ, such as the bronze serpent on a pole. Today, may we look to Calvary Cross, the focus of where sin demand was paid . No longer we face the fiery serpents , but real are the fiery dots against our faith. Therefore, take the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. In the lyrics of G. T. Haywood , we sing: On Cal'vry's hill of sorrow Where sin's demands were paid, And rays of hope for tomorrow Across our path were laid. I see a crimson stream of blood, It flows from Calvary, Its waves which reach the throne of God, Are sweeping over me. Today no condemnation Abides to turn away My soul from His salvation, He's in my heart to stay. When gloom and sadness whisper, "You've sinned—no use to pray, " I look away to Jesus, And He tells me to say: I see a crimson stream of blood The Cross of Christ, the place the wandering afflicted soul of men may rest and live. The only place God will meet with men, for it was sin that separates man from God, and at the Cross, sin demand was paid, at the Cross we abide. _____ Blotting out the handwriting in the ordinances against us, which was contrary to us, even He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to His Cross; having stripped the rulers and the authorities, (Satan and his henchmen) He made a show of them in public, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:14-15) __________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© > Related topics < Share

  • The Threefold Nature of Man | Awalkingnewman.com

Man is a Threefold being, meaning three parts working as one, the body, the soul, and the spirit. The outer of man is the body of man. The middle of man is the soul; the inner of man is the spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:23) Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The Threefold Nature of Man One cannot fully explain or comprehend the relation of the body, soul and spirit without acknowledging God as the key to the comprehension of the subject. Man is a Threefold being , meaning three parts working as one, the body , the soul , and the spirit . The outer of man is the body of man. The middle of man is the soul ; the inner of man is the spirit . (1 Thessalonians 5:23) The body (or the flesh) is the physical outer shell that houses the soul and the spirit. The soul is the existence of who we are. The expression of who we are, through our character. The spirit of man is the intellect, the immortal part of the individual. The soul and the spirit are closely related, however, there is a difference. Dealing with the soul, it is the personal existence of the individual. The soul in relation to the body or (flesh ) The soul, the existence of who we are. It expressed who we are, through our character. The expression of who we are is seen through the soul. This expression of the soul is predicated upon its communion with the spirit , or with the body . Therefore, we walk in the Spirit; meaning, we let the Spirit direct our lives, or we walk after the flesh. Desiring the lust of the human nature. Through communicating with the body, the soul explores the act of self-expression, of who we are. With the eyes , seeing is enacted, causing imagination to the soul. With the nose , we smell, bringing conscience to the soul. With the ears , we hear, producing memory to the soul. With the mouth , we taste, causing the soul to reason. With the hands , or touches, the soul translates affections. These things in themselves are not amiss, but to what cause are they enacted? The soul that desires only the things of the flesh, is carnal. That which is carnal, may be pleasing for a while, but it is temporary. It shall waste away, and so shall the individual whom the soul depends on the attributes of the flesh. The soul in relation to the Spirit On the contrary, the spirit of man is the intellect, and the immortal part of the individual. The intellectual discernment of the spirit does not depend on the physical. This part of man was created by God, as an abode for His presence to dwell with man, for a fellowship and discerning right from wrong. Although the spirit receives impressions of the outward through the body and soul. However, unlike the soul wherewith its senses are the five senses; seeing, smelling, hearing, tasting and feeling. The senses of the spirit are faith, hope, reverence, prayer and worship. Therefore, if the soul of an individual commune with his spirit, the individual discernment is far beyond the physical or the natural. This is what Paul the Apostle refers to as, walking by faith and not by sight. Wherewith, faith becomes the eyes of the soul. Though we see with the natural eyes, but we are not controlled by what we see. Therefore, the individual mood is not altered by sight, or by hearing, neither through the physical interaction with the natural. The benefits of such are innumerable. Where there was once fear, there is assurance. Where anger once control the mood, there is now peace. The soul that once was depressed, shall be grateful. Hatred is replaced with affection. These and more are vital to the existence of who we are, neither are they brought about through a magical enhancement. Until the Spirit of God can dwell with the spirit of man in unity, within man, his spirit abides in darkness. The works of his heart are evil. The results thereof are pride, selfishness, corruption, prevarication, hatred, quarrelsome, greed and Lover of self. The replacement of these things and more, is done through the rejuvenation of the spirit within man. Wherewith, the Spirit of God comes in and dwell with the spirit of man. Where there was once darkness, there shall be light and illumination. However, there arises a problem, the darkened spirit chamber of the natural man, has his “Will ” as a guard at the entry to his spirit, to prevent the entering of the Spirit of God. Case in point, we see the perishing of society around us, however, they rather self-destroy than the acceptance of God in the equation. Young people are disobedient to their parents, but family rather accepts a dysfunctional family by partaking in counseling than teaching their young ones Exodus 20:12 - Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long . Self ambition without God, but when premature failure arrives, God is blamed. Not until the “Will” of man surrenders to the Spirit of God; illustratively speaking, surrendering is accomplished through the “Sword of the Spirit” wherewith, the “Will” of man is crucified. This is done by the “Word of God” through the acceptance of the Word of God. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 KJV) When the “Will ” surrenders, then the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit can enter and abide with the spirit of man. Now, the individual no longer solely depends on the natural through his flesh, but he can rely on the direction of the Spirit of God. This is the process in which the believer is set apart to be worked on, to make whole (restore) . Theologically speaking, this is sanctification , the believer isn’t perfect, but is being made perfect. There will be times, when the soul of man will resort to the flesh through failure, but his spirit no longer dwells in darkness. Therefore, the Spirit of God in him shall be a guide and a protector to correct, and lead his soul in the guidance of the Holy Spirit along with his spirit. Through FAITH – though we do not see, but we believe. We HOPE – the blessed assurance of God. Our PRAYER - Our communication with God, in every effectual communication, there must be a time to listen, and a time to speak. Therefore, let us learn to listen to God as well as to speak to Him, and WORSHIP – the selfless expression of adoration and praise, the gratification of seeing the goodness of God, through REVERENCE – the respect of the Lord is the path to wisdom. (Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole of man. (Not the whole duty of man) as it has been translated. Rather, the whole of man . In other words, if a man keep His commandments or abide in the directive path of the Lord, he is a whole man: Body, soul and spirit. The very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24) __________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© > Related topics < Share

  • Do our pets go to heaven? | Awalkingnewman.com

The love for our pets goes far beyond the expression for the present, it transcends to the future. Herein arises the question, will we always have our pets with us, like the assurance of seeing our loved ones who went on to be with the Lord? Share Miscellaneous Writings Do our pets go to heaven? Will we ever see our lost pets again? Questions and answers segment taking from the forum of A Walking New Man website A valid question that opens an extensive discussion on the existence of life, and its purpose. When Heaven is used in a question, or a statement with the idea of the transition of life, we automatically perceive from a spiritual standpoint (and rightly so) However, we sadly exclude the most precious bond anyone can experience outside the relationship with God and our fellowmen. The relationship and bond we form with our pets, are the true example of a steadfast love, birth in lowliness. We removed these animals from their natural environment, to be a part of our family, at times without all the full benefit as a family. Yet they love us like their own, and we love them. They teach our young ones the act of responsibility. The bond we share with them brings out the awareness of compassion in all of us. The love for our pets goes far beyond the expression for the present, it transcends to the future. Herein arises the question, will we always have our pets with us, like the assurance of seeing our loved ones who went on to be with the Lord? The assumption is, unlike the human soul and spirit that is destine to eternal glory or eternal damnation; the eternal destination of an animal is not sub ject to one or the other. Therefore, many assume the only experience we have with our pets, is now. Since the dawn of man, God in His wisdom chooses the animals as the companion to mankind. We read in the beginning of all books, the Book of Genesis. Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast (animals) of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Meaning, that is how they all got their names. The lesson within these passages gives us a further insight to our topic. The animals were presented to Adam, by God. A form of possession to rule over them, one ought to understand, the animal kingdom we have today, isn’t in its originality of how it was meant to be. They weren’t made to live as a separate kingdom on earth. They were made for mankind, to live along side with us. Hence; we read that God brought them unto Adam. Like a parent would entrust a gift of a high value to his or her child, so it was with God and Adam. Every good parent who entrusts a gift or a thing of a high value to a child, expects the child to care for the gift. Nevertheless, the parent continues to watch over both the gift and the child. We read in Psalms 36:6, the righteousness of God is like the mountains, His justice is like the depths of the seas. Humans and animals are in His care. This brings an insightful discussion to our topic. Do our pets go to heaven? Though their eternal destination is not subject to heaven or hell. However, has God made or create anything without His knowing of its existence, does its life come to an end and ceases from His awareness? To this we answered, unequivocally no. Not only is He aware of all life and its existence, His love and care endures forever; Toward mankind who has rebelled against Him, and for the animals who became the victim for the cause of man’s sin. Simple and insignificant the animals might seem to mankind in his fallen-state, but not to God. He continues to watch over them in a rebellious world. An illustration would be that of the Ark, precisely Noah’s ark . Towering approximately 45 ft high, 450 ft long, and 75 ft wide. This was indeed a massive structure. However, the only people on-board the ship were Noah and his family, his wife, their three sons and their wives. Although, for the stability of the ship, its size was crucial, but for the sake of the animals, such monumental vessel was constructed, by the command of God for the importance of these creatures. As long as man exists in the plan of God, the animals will exist with man. Thousand years earlier, God brought them unto Adam for possession. (Genesis 2:19) Centuries later, God directed them to Noah for protection. (Genesis 6:20 ) Years from now in the future, when peace, order and prosperity are restored on earth. When mankind lives in the glory of God, once again, animals will be there, but this time they will be restored to their natural intend by God. No longer will there be carnivorous activities among the animals. The lion shall eat straw like the ox, and the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together. (Isaiah 11:7) God in his wisdom, knows the love children have toward animals. Therefore, this time, the care of the animals shall be given to the children. This doesn’t imply an adult won’t experience the joy of picking up a bear cub in his or her arms for a warm snuggle. Or the feeding of birds in a field, while lying on a male lion in the cushion of its fur, for a pillow during the cool of the day. Nevertheless, in a world without harm, who is better to lead and teach an animal than a child with its vibrant, eager mind? There is evidence, the children born during this time will be highly intelligent, than an adult of today; as it was originally intended to be for children that were to be born unto Adam and Eve, hasn’t it been for the Fall. Animals like the wolf shall live with the lamb. The division of wild animals and domestic animals will be bridged as one. The leopard shall no longer stalk its prey, but it shall lie down with the other young animals like a young goat; and the calf and the young lion and the lamb together. As stated, the beauty of all this is, a little child shall lead them. The speech ability of certain animals likely would be returned as well, as they learn from children, children of high intelligence. For we know the serpent once had an ability to communicate. (Genesis chapter three) This is not a fable or symbolism, it actually did talk. Even today, we see such evidence in Songbirds and Parrots. They can learn and mimic human speech. Beyond mimicking human speech, was a gray parrot named Alex , it spoke with a vocabulary of some 100 human words. It was reported that Alex the parrot had the intelligence of a five-year-old human, along with the emotional level of a two-year-old. If it wasn’t for the death of the gray parrot, it could have achieved even more. Now, imagine a world, of longevity in both man and animal; the possibilities will be glorious. As we move toward this age, which is to come; God continues to watch over the animals. Even for some of the smallest of His creation, like a sparrow. Yet, not one sparrow falls to the ground without God’s consent. Therefore, be not surprised when you arrive in glory, there to see your long-lost pet reunited with you. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. But one day, a gentle hand reaches out to her, not to touch, but to hold. A kind voice speaks to her, not to praise, but to understand. A warm heart beats for her, not to want, but to love. She senses a spark of hope, that maybe she can heal, that maybe she can trust, that maybe she can feel again. She lets him in, slowly and cautiously, opening her fractures and scars. Miscellaneous Writings A plea to Heaven, from the torment of this world (Psalms 35:1-5) Share Written by David, though we do not know the exact situation wherewith David found himself when he wrote the 35th Psalms. However, in the helplessness of life's uncertainties, a plea to Heaven is our only hope. Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. The 13 requests of the plea 1. Plead my cause, O Lord. 2. Fight for me. 3. Take up Your weapons. 4. • The will of God

Miscellaneous Writings from A Walking New Man website Share Miscellaneous Writings The will of God Play For interaction click the blog version here God gives promises and only God can fulfill the promises. If we abide in His will. For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:36) Or as another translation puts it; You need to be patient, in order to do the will of God and receive what He promises. What is the will of God? The will of God is the counsel of God. Counsel in its assorted meaning, can thus be summed up as, the giving of one’s opinion on how to best deal with the specific situation. Therefore, the one given the counsel must decide to reject or accept. This is the free moral agency …whosoever will. (Revelation 22:17) However, the accepting of the will of God through His counsel isn’t obtained through works. Rather, as a gift, it is freely received. By faith we conclude in our mind that whatsoever our current condition, or situation is, the acceptance of the will of God is better than what we are, or what we are going through. So then, if we are under the counsel of God, we shall abide in His will. Consequently, we let go of our will and follow His will. We cannot live without a will, but our will must be made conformable to God's will (Galatians 2:20) through faith. In that we believe He will do that which He has promised. However, let not the believer's focus be on the promise, but rather the source of the promise from God our father through Jesus Christ our Lord. Christ once said, in order for anyone to learn of Him and this Devine will, we ought to forsake our will. So then, by faith let us accept the will of God in our lives. Noah Webster defined Will as, Divine determination ; moral purpose or counsel . Hence, our determination is not on the things of the promise, but rather a Divine determination by our love toward God, to seek His counsel. Let our anticipation be His guidance toward us. Seek ye first the reign of God and His righteousness, (in our lives) and all these shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33 YLT) Pursuing However, be not dismayed, in the pursuing for the revelation of the will of God. For it is not brought forth through wisdom, but through failure. This failure shall be a revelation, if the heart desires a change. If this change is carried out by God, it is no longer a failure, but the mending of that individual by God, for an imputed righteousness by Faith. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, who gives to all freely and with no reproach, and it will be given to him.
