- Fear
Noah Webster defines fear as, a painful emotion or passion excited by an expectation of evil, or the apprehension of impending danger. Fear is a complex quality of bad and some good. In such case, the fear of the Lord isn’t evil, rather, a reverence toward God in turn of respect. Fear, however, primarily does not represent a pleasantry, rather a debilitating effect upon its subject. Excluding the fear of the Lord as aforementioned, fear cannot be fully explained or address without the acknowledging of evil. However, we live in a modern world wherewith evil is repudiated as intangible. For where evil is acknowledged, modern men in their pride, will in part acknowledge the teaching of the Word of God, but for their resentment of God and the idea of an inclusive society, some have rejected the impression of evil. For where there is evil, there is the opposite of evil, which is good and good is an attribute of God, but they rather not acknowledge God. Therefore, the contrast of good and evil, is that of a blurry distinction. Nevertheless, the fear of anticipating the worst is more prevalent now, than ever before. From the youngest among us, to the aged, there are millions across the world living with the uneasiness of the emotion of fear as aroused by the Intellectual anticipation of what might happen. This anticipation expresses itself through worrying or anxiety. The first five mentioned of fear in the Bible, presents itself through the categories of: Lawlessness, and its effect Uncertainty Mistrust Hopelessness Discouragement Even in the present, despite many years later, there are numerous who are debilitated by fear, while experiencing its effects through the categories as listed. Of the five listed categories, their commonality is primarily the result of a vacuum or a void. For where there is lawlessness, the law is absent. The presence of uncertainty is the absence of assurance. Whereas, a mistrust is the absence of trust, and lastly without hope, there is the void of Discouragement. The battle field wherewith these things are carried out, is the human mind. Though not a person is a master of the mind, save He who is its creator. However, these things and more, are the result of a void. May we in respond fill the void of discouragement with hope, in the Lord. A hopeful heart is a sufficiency to the void of hopelessness. Though others may cause hurt to us, the root of mistrust, but there is one who is worthy of Trust, the Lord Jesus Christ. Even if we can’t trust our fellow men, may we Learn to trust in the Lord. Through this, He is able to bring people of trustworthiness into our lives. Family, friends and even our actions of the past may cause uncertainty for the future, but Christ is the blessed assurance. May this be our story and our song, singing praises, in hope of that change we all need, but to be hopeful is to be grateful. Great is Thy faithfulness Lord Morning by morning new mercies I see And all I have needed Thy hand hath provided Great is Thy faithfulness Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God; (Philippians 4:6) ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- Which part have you chosen?
And as they went on, it happened, He (Jesus) also entered into a certain village. And a certain woman, Martha by name, received Him into her house. And she had also a sister, called Mary, who also was sitting alongside, at the feet of Jesus, and heard His Word (His teaching). But Martha was distracted about much serving. And coming on she said, Lord, is it not a care to You that my sister left me alone to serve? Then tell her that she should help me. But answering Jesus said to her, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, But there is need of only one; and Mary chose the good part, which shall not be taken from her. (Luke 10:38-42) Though we care for many things, however, not all things are needed. The setting is Bethany, a suburb of Jerusalem. The focus is the Lord Jesus. The object of the lesson is the two sisters, Martha and Mary. Both women are believers, and they both love the Lord. Such is the Church today, those that are a part of the Church, for the most part, they love the Lord. However, there are those of whom their focus is working for the Lord, in doing many good things, rather than having a personal relationship with the Lord. Doing good things doesn’t always means it is the best thing. Though there are many Christians today who are involved in the works of the Lord, but their spiritual relationship of worship of the Lord is limited due to the distraction of doing good things, but the doing of good things doesn’t always means it is the best thing to do. Here was Martha, hosting the Lord Jesus as her guests, therewith, she went on preparing the meal, getting the house ready, taking care of the guests and the likes. Her sister Mary, began by doing the same, but with the presence of the Lord in the home, Mary left the works, by choosing to do the only one good thing, sitting at the feet of the Master to hear Him, the act of fellowship, praise and worship. In the Words of Jesus; there is need of only one; and Mary chose the good part. Martha, like many Christians today, though they love the Lord and acknowledge His presence. However, they have replaced their relationship with the Lord, with works. Though commendable works, but works shall not suffice a relationship with the Lord, as Mary her sister displays. She put all the care aside and sat at the feet of the Master, to hear, to learn and receive wisdom abundantly. Today, the Christian’s equivalence of sitting at the feet of the Lord, is done through a prayer life, the study of the Word and constantly seeking the presence of the Lord. If Christ is not the center and the first in our lives, whatever work we think we are doing for him will be burdened with anxiety or agitation and with error. Note, Martha, anxious to work for the Lord, in so doing, she told the Lord what to do; “. . .Then tell her that she should help me” Concerning her sister. This is the condition of many Christians today, for the Lack of a proper relationship with the Lord, they are not hearing that which the Lord has to say. Instead, they are telling Him what to do in their lives, or that which they want. The grace of the Lord is extended to all, neither did He condemned Martha. In a compassionate love, He reached out to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, But there is need of only one; and Mary chose the good part, which shall not be taken from her. By the repeating of her name, He was saying, I do not care about your works, it is you I care about. We all have at one point in our Christian experience, placed work over relationship with the Lord, but like Mary, let us choose the good part. Note, the Lord said there is need of only one (good part) Not the many man-made works of the Church, and the only one good part or decision is made by the believer. Consequently, those who chooses to abide beside the Lord in learning His words have chosen the good part, which shall not be taken from them. That is to say, the Holy Spirit of God, will nourish and guard the right choice the believer makes, by leading he or she in all truth. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- The difference between a symptom and cause, for the right cure.
THAT WHICH WAS THEN, MAY SERVE AS A LESSON FOR TODAY. FOR THE ERRORS OF YESTERDAY IS A PATH TO CORRECTION FOR THE WILLING HEARTS OF TODAY, TO PERCEIVE AND LEARN, THROUGH TYPES AND SHADOWS. LET THE WILLING MIND TAKE HOLD OF WISDOM, FOR INSTRUCTION AND LEARNING. Painting over the stain from a leaking roof, doesn’t change the fact that there is still a hole in the roof. Many religious Jews during the time of Christ were guilty of such. It was sin which brought them under the bondage of Rome. However, they saw no need to address sin, but rather overcome Rome. The power of Rome over God's people was not in the military might of Rome, but God's people inability to capitalize on the power of God which had been diminished in their lives because of sin. Such it is now, even amongst Christians of today. He that is with an anger problem, is urged to freely let out the rage in hope to cure the problem. But to what cause is the reason of the sudden burst of temper? The rage is only the evidence of a problem from within, wherewith there is no control. Can man control his nature? Absolutely not, but He who is the Creator is the Restorer, in Him is the answer. A patient need not fully understand the working of a physician before the patient submits themselves for a cure, but in urgency and hope, the patient yields to the hands of the physician. Likewise, let us take those things that so easily beset us to our Great Physician, the Lord Jesus Christ. He who lusts through carnality, the problem isn’t that which is seen by the eyes the source of lasciviousness, but from within is the want, for the absence of being content. However big our void is, may the Spirit of God move upon the face of our darkness and deep, and thus declare let there be light. The light shall remove us from the darkness wherewith we have for so long commit our deeds in hidden, but its effects have left us naught, but destitute and void, but in Christ, the darkness shall turn into day. The reminder of the darkness shall be the evidence that we are now in the Light, and are the children of the Light. In order to restore this power and reestablished the flow. Christ had to go to the root of the problem, which is sin, so that He might be our representative man unto God. It is only in Him, God is pleased. For He said, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:17 Therefore, let us follow after Christ and abide in Him, that His sufferings might be our escape, His temptations He overcame, might be our lessons to learn, and His victories overall, shall be our victory as well. - Spiritual examination before prescription
Before healing, the Lord must expose who we are. Though the process is not done in the open, but many believers will not acknowledge who they are, which is destroying them slowly from within. Like the question of the Lord to Jacob of old, what is your name? In essence He is asking us that we may acknowledge who we are. Though I am your child Lord, but I am (whatever the problem is) a doubtful person, I acknowledge it and I give it to you. Or, I'm self-righteous. Apprehensive Jealous Anger Vindictive Malicious These and the likes, and more. Apprehensive - fast to learn, but slow to accept and easy to forget, for the sake of doubtfulness. Jealous - Uneasy, without any trust, withdraw from others, without the appreciation of what is good in people, for the presumption of all that is bad, for the lack of trust. Anger – Strong emotion usually only controlled by the strangling of the character, when there is release, the reaction is violence to obtain satisfaction. Vindictive – not willing to forgive, consequently the love of Christ is rejected, the evidence of spiritual growth is unseen. Malicious – when apprehensiveness, jealousy, anger, vindictiveness, self-righteousness, doubtfulness and the likes are harbored for a long time without Christ as the Deliverer, then the absence of Christ is replaced with ill-will and enmity. These and the likes I am, but I surrender to you, Lord. He is our Great Physician, like a doctor, a patient must submit their problem before it can be diagnosed. Nevertheless, diagnosing is only an examination to the symptom. Good doctors will diagnose the problem, but sent the patient away to another source for the treatment, through the recommendation of prescriptions, but with Christ, the Great Physician, He is the one who diagnoses, and He is the healer. However, in all sincerity, let us first acknowledge who we are, not to our fellow men, but to the Lord, so that we can be what we ought to be; by His transformation in us. Whatsoever are the problems we faced, through these words, may the spark of faith be kindled. If faith is lacking in its fullness, let the believer pray as such: Lord, I believe, help my unbelief. Trust in Him at every time, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:8) ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- Hope
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. (Proverbs 13:12) Hope is the desire of something good, accompanied with an expectation of obtaining it, with the belief that it is obtainable. However, the time frame until the possession of that which we desire and expect, isn’t desirable. Like the verse above; Hope differed (delayed) will make the heart sick. That is to say, if that which we hoped for; if it is not soon revealed or received as expected, a delayed any length of time before the possession, the mind becomes uneasy, the heart sinks into doubt and discouragement, therewith, the individual becomes dispirited without hope. Forfeiting the desire of that which they hoped for. Thereby giving up all hope of enjoying the desired blessing; that is ahead, whether it be deliverance from evil, or the possession of the heart’s desire. However, when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Note, the adverb “when” is used, not "if" the desire comes. Instead, when it comes. In other words, though it tarry, but it shall come, and when it does, it is a tree of life. This speaks of the tree of life, as it was in Eden's garden; an unspeakable pleasure and delight, while sustaining and never depleting. Henry said, nothing is more grievous than the disappointment of a raised expectation, though not in the thing itself by a denial, yet in the time of it by a delay. Nothing is more grateful than to enjoy that, at last, which we have long wished and waited for. So then, though we have not seen it yet, but let us continue to hope for it, by faith. Longer valley, big wings Though I walk through the valley, but the longer the valley, the fuller the wings that awaits me, and the furthest I shall fly. Leaving the valley beneath, and reaching forth for the glory of the skies. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- When Pride Comes
When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. (Proverbs 11:2) In proudness, the mind thinks more of itself, by expecting to be treated according to a self-made standard of which he or she seldom meets. Therein comes shame, which ought to be a lesson, but it is never a lesson to the proud mind. Instead, the mind finds shelter in indignation. For those that are Christians, therein, they seek the wrong deliverance. Lord, deliver me, a victim. Instead, of Lord, create in me a new heart. For this we know, when pride comes, then comes shame, but with the lowly is wisdom. That is to say, it is wiser to be modest. Through this, our expectation is trusting in the Lord and our comfort is His love, and our shelter is His promise of protection. In such times, men will always find fault with other men, but if I make God my Judge by trusting in Him, let those who finds fault with me, be a fool to question the Almighty God. For all those things have My Hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor (humble) and of a contrite spirit, (remorse from wrongdoing) and trembles at My word. - The Call Of Wisdom
Understanding the Proverbs, then and now. But whoso hearkens unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. Proverbs 1:33 The preceding verses before verse 33 dealt with the availability of wisdom to all, though wisdom is calling to all, but many listens not of which ends is destruction. When it is late: Then shall they call upon Me, (The Lord) but I will not answer; they shall seek Me early, but they shall not find Me. Proverbs 1:28 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD. Proverbs 1:29 But whoso hearkens unto Me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. The word Hearkens or Shaw-mah’, as it is rendered in the Hebrew language; it carries the idea of listening through intelligence, with the implication of attention and obedience, and witness. Consequently, one cannot choose or have wisdom without first being aware through the witnessing of evil or wrongdoing. Today, there are many who pride in their self-ethical, moral standard, while refusing to hear or judge the system of the world through the political influence. For most things that are wrong today, it has its roots in the world political system. Staying away from such through the mindset that Christian, or good people ought not to partake in the political issue of the day is the equivalent of sitting in the dark while attempting to get things done efficiently. Confused they shall be, and ineffectual shall be the result. Was Moses and his bold confronting of Pharaoh an act of nonpolitical interference? On the contrary, it was the biggest political influence of its day. What if the Israelites refused to hear anything “political” of that day through Moses and his brother Aaron? How would they have been aware of what was happening in the political halls of Egypt, and how would they have known they were delivered? Today, the Lord is revealing many things throughout the world, through the deeds of governments and their political systems. Unwise are those who choose not to pay attention and witness the dealings of the day. Therefore, where faith ought to be the comfort of the people through the wisdom they have acquired, but there is naught. Consequently, fear is their companion and easily manipulated they become. However, observe our verse from above. But whoso hearkens unto wisdom in fullness, shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. That is to say, but whoever listens to Me, will have security. They will be safe, with no reason to be afraid. The pronoun “Me,” speaks of the Lord, as He sees all, likewise He is moving upon all in this world, and wise are those who observe attentively.
- Exposition of Proverbs
The deeper understanding of words. Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. (Proverbs 16:3 KJV) Commit - Seek by trusting Thy works - All things Unto - under, never above The LORD - The existing One, ever liveth, ever provider and Lord. Thy thoughts - Thoughts without God, is mere imagination, but with God it becomes a purpose of which He shall bring to pass. Shall be Established - Direct and provide for, and furnish. Therefore, to commit to the Lord isn’t a one attempt experiment, nor will the establishment be made manifest instantly. However, we seek - this is the awareness of that which is not yet present, but the persistence to lay hold of that which we desire. So then, though the human mind at times cannot comprehend that which is at hand, nevertheless, let us present all things unto the Lord, by presenting all things under His care. If the problem we faced is our focus, we in essence have lifted the problem above us. The burden needlessly will be bear, but that which is laid under the care of the Lord, is no longer a burden, but a stepping stone for progression. Progressing by seeing more of God and less of ourselves. Trust in His will, and not our ability. Then we shall be established by His will. He shall direct us to that which we seek Provide that which we desire, and furnish that we receive. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- Lessons from the Proverbs
As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise. Proverbs 27:21 When the perception to understand is stalled by the complexity of that which is before us, may we become humble in our approach with a desire to perceive. Like the verse above, at first glimpse, the reader may not comprehend its full meaning. Many are turned away for the lack of understanding, then there are those who embrace their lack of understanding as an opportunity to learn. The good in us as an individual or a collective, are only brought forth when we are tested. The way in which we undergo the circumstance of a test or a trial, it will determine who we are. As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise. That is to say, before a silver becomes a precious metal, it must be placed in the refining pot. Therein, the rock of ore becomes the silver. Likewise, before a gold is sought after for its value and praise; the impurities and imperfections are melted away through the fire of the furnace. So then, unto us as individuals, Swaggart once wrote; Silver and gold are tested by fire, and man is tested by praise. Few endure the test; they are wise whom praise affects not. That being the case, be not deceived, all tests are not of discomfort. An individual is most vulnerable, when he or she sees not the need of being cautious. The cautious spoken of are not the acts of worrying, or fear. For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 That which is received, must first be given. If power is bestowed upon us and love is to be reflected in us, with a sound mind, then to whom all the praise and glory belong? To the giver. The refined mind will speak through the purged lips, if any good is found in me, it’s all because of what Christ has done in me. If I am ever anything, all the praises to Christ I bring. Where glory is due, if glory is given, the assurance of a continual blessing upon us is a guarantee; a gift from God, or a gift from our fellow men. Therein, meekness is a reminder in the time of praise to give glory to where it is due. Jamieson-Fausset-Brown wrote, as fire shows the purity, or else impurity of silver, so does praise show the virtue, or else the vanity of the man, according as he is puffed up or humble under it. The believer transfers the praise from himself to God. For if a man is exalted by his fellow men, and he accept the praises as a pride of vanity, sooner or later his fellow men will see fit to debase him. Whom shall he turn to for protection, shall he turn to those who desire his downfall? Or, if he speaks praise of himself in vanity, will he defend himself of the onslaught when he is proven not to be what he claims to be? This we know, The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in His holy place? He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalms 24:1-5 ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- The Plan, initiating actions.
If the motion of life was as a time, on the clock, the second-hand would be the driving force that moves life. On the clock, the second hand is the driving force which moves time. Though its calculation is but a second, presumably a second is less than 50 minutes, and an hour. Nevertheless, without the motion of a second, 50 times, there won’t be a minute. Without the accumulation of minutes, there won’t be an hour. Without which, the day is stalled and progression ceases. So, if life was as a time, the little things in life, when accumulated in order and the right way, there will be a harmonious progression. Little is enough when God is an intricate part of it. However, for many Christians, the inclusion of God in their lives is only a realization at a peak in life, or at life’s lowest point. Anything in between, the presence of God and His guidance are unthought of. In other words, the mind is God conscience, but the will is self-driven. Consequently, decisions are made without the Lord, and His plans are unfollowed, through the means of self-will. For the most part, the exclusion of God from the day to day activities in a life of the believer, isn’t due to an animosity toward Him. However, the individual feels the decision they make is common, the average ordinary decision. Therefore, there isn’t a need to pray about it, or really seek the will of God, so their will is imposed. Though it be an insignificant decision, but like the second-hand on a clock, every second adds up to a minute, and a minute into an hour, and the hours turn into days, ultimately an entire life. At which point, the many little decisions that were made without God, it eventually accumulates into life’s burden. Therewith, at life’s lowest point, the individual wonders why, or blame God and others. For the little decisions that emerge as a burden to bear. If it took one wrong insignificant decision at a time, to accumulate into a mass of burden to bear, and life’s misery. It would also take one little right decision at the time, to make things right. Though the mind is incapable of undoing the past, but the doing of the right thing now, is departing from the old ways of self-will to a new path of trusting in the Lord, while seeking Him for every decision. The longer we walk on this new path, the further the path of failure is left behind, and its memories. As time goes from a second to a minute and minutes to an hour, and hours turn into days, may the heart of the believing Christian be as a ticking clock, harmoniously seeking the Lord. One little thing at a time. Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- Accomplished living, but with sorrow
There are many who are blessed, but are living a life of sorrow. However, if it is the blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. For many in the modern world, with riches comes perplexity or sorrow. Although they have a good job, or a dream career, through this they achieved great deeds, but with the achievements and riches comes an increasing void. A void of sorrow, wherewith the riches cannot fill, the mind is left in a state of bewilderment. So then, what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, but lose his soul in sorrow? The soul was created for God, until it is reunited with God, it will never find true rest. Even for the Christian, there are some of whom their understanding of God is nothing but a head knowledge, but inside they are at war, a war without an agenda. Therefore, they are the victims within themselves. The time is now, to make things right with the Lord, without the head knowledge, but the heart knowledge. With head knowledge, we see things and even sometimes feel things. Nevertheless, it doesn't bring about any change, but with heart knowledge we accept that which we perceive, and we understand. Those who are of head knowledge, they trust in their willpower rather than God’s will. For they do not trust in the righteousness of God, but in their own righteousness. (meaning they do that which they think is right for themselves) Therefore, whatever their struggle is, they try to do it on their own. Head knowledge doesn’t bring about a change in the individual’s life. Though they accumulate knowledge, through reading, experience and the like, but the knowledge is stagnant. However, the heart knowledge, is the knowledge of the heart. This is the kind of knowledge that changes who we are, it recognized that we cannot bring about a change alone, therefore, the heart sincerely reaches out to God. Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. This is the Call: Dear God in Heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I'm sorry for the way I've lived, the things I've done. Please forgive me and cleanse me with your precious Blood from all unrighteousness. According to your Words (Romans 10:9) I believe in my heart God raised Jesus from the dead and He is alive. With my mouth I confess the Lord Jesus Christ as the Savior of my soul, at this very moment I accept Him as the Lord of my life. Right now, according to God’s word which cannot lie. I'm washed, I'm safe, I'm born again. I thank you Lord Jesus for dying on the Cross to give me a new life, an eternal life. Teach me your way that I may follow. Amen. Now, the blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. (Proverbs 10:22) The Christian riches are not limited to things, but living a full life, of JOY, PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
- Praise
I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Praises open the portal of the soul to the moving of the Holy Spirit. Wherein the Mighty Spirit of the Lord flows through the feeble natural man. As he sees less of his problem and more of God's love and greatness, Overflowing his being, in growth with oneness with the Lord. Towering over every doubt and unbelief, filling up every emptiness of sorrow with the wisdom of the Lord and His council. Against every oppression, reverting every falsity into truth. A truth that is in the Lord establishes a hopeful foundation in the once troubled soul. Causing the natural man to put on the Spirit man through an ever-ongoing praise to the Lord. Praise in the Greek means hymns, therefore, what is the singing of our lips, discontent? It is as a crack and a leak to a vessel, in which it shall never be filled to overflow, but praise is gratitude to the Lord. Put on the garment of praise, without praise the believer is as a naked individual. Wherewith, their focus is no longer on God. The focus is on the shame of the nakedness, in other words the focus is on self. The cause of depression for many, is the focus of the problem within “self,” the individual has no control over. Yet, when it becomes the focus, the mind is trapped in a puzzle without a solution, causing a physical low state, from the burden, for the lack of answers. Whereas, a hollow from within, drown all feelings to an abyss of darkness. At times, it isn’t always about what we feel, in this case, the feeling of sadness. Instead, it is what we know. If we’ve once experienced any joy, let the mind remember, the Lord is able to restore the joy we once felt. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:19 KJV) Speaking to yourselves in psalms How can we speak to ourselves in the Psalms, if we read not? Faith comes by hearing, the hearing of the Word of God, but if we don’t read, we are hindered as the recipient of faith. Singing hymns and spiritual songs and making melody in your heart to the Lord The songs of the world, glory in self with the desire of things lost and the lust of the flesh. The fulfillment of these things will never be enough, but the lust for more. On the contrary, the heart that makes melody to the Lord, the individual connects with the Lord finding rest and refuge, in times of need. He will give to those who mourn, Joy and gladness instead of grief. Where there is the spirit of heaviness, put on the garment of praise. 🎶🎶 When clouds of doubt hover over me, and the storm of life tosses me to and fro... there is a place, of refuge that I can go. . . He's the shield for every tempest, and He is an anchor that sure and true, in times like these, oh it's so good for me to know. . . God is my refuge (Thank you Lord Jesus) a strong and mighty tower that I can run to, God is my refuge. Without Him tell me what could I do? Once I wandered far from the shelter, just ahead, I could not even see . . . those dark clouds that were heavy and full of rage. The winds will blow hard, and the billows will roll and roll and roll, from the raging sea, but peace comes the moment I call out my JESUS NAME, and I know that God is my refuge, strong mighty tower that I can run to. I know that God is my refuge. (Thank you Lord Jesus) 🎶🎶 ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
