The difference between a symptom and cause, for the right cure.

Updated: Aug 1, 2022

THAT WHICH WAS THEN, MAY SERVE AS A LESSON FOR TODAY. FOR THE ERRORS OF YESTERDAY IS A PATH TO CORRECTION FOR THE WILLING HEARTS OF TODAY, TO PERCEIVE AND LEARN, THROUGH TYPES AND SHADOWS. LET THE WILLING MIND TAKE HOLD OF WISDOM, FOR INSTRUCTION AND LEARNING.

Painting over the stain from a leaking roof, doesn’t change the fact that there is still a hole in the roof.

Many religious Jews during the time of Christ were guilty of such. It was sin which brought them under the bondage of Rome. However, they saw no need to address sin, but rather overcome Rome. The power of Rome over God's people was not in the military might of Rome, but God's people inability to capitalize on the power of God which had been diminished in their lives because of sin.

Such it is now, even amongst Christians of today. He that is with an anger problem, is urged to freely let out the rage in hope to cure the problem. But to what cause is the reason of the sudden burst of temper? The rage is only the evidence of a problem from within, wherewith there is no control. Can man control his nature? Absolutely not, but He who is the Creator is the Restorer, in Him is the answer.

A patient need not fully understand the working of a physician before the patient submits themselves for a cure, but in urgency and hope, the patient yields to the hands of the physician.

Likewise, let us take those things that so easily beset us to our Great Physician, the Lord Jesus Christ.

He who lusts through carnality, the problem isn’t that which is seen by the eyes the source of lasciviousness, but from within is the want, for the absence of being content. However big our void is, may the Spirit of God move upon the face of our darkness and deep, and thus declare let there be light. The light shall remove us from the darkness wherewith we have for so long commit our deeds in hidden, but its effects have left us naught, but destitute and void, but in Christ, the darkness shall turn into day. The reminder of the darkness shall be the evidence that we are now in the Light, and are the children of the Light.

In order to restore this power and reestablished the flow. Christ had to go to the root of the problem, which is sin, so that He might be our representative man unto God. It is only in Him, God is pleased. For He said, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:17 Therefore, let us follow after Christ and abide in Him, that His sufferings might be our escape, His temptations He overcame, might be our lessons to learn, and His victories overall, shall be our victory as well.
