It is true, opposition is from the enemy, which in part is a hindrance to the believer. However, most hindrance in the life of the Christian is brought about through ignorant - a tough choice of word, but basically it is the act of not knowing that you don't know. Ignorance is only a part of the hindrance the Christians face. The other reason is the individual's mindset. Even though the mind is what make us free as an individual. However, it is the most powerful factor to keep a believer bind, through struggles with hindrance, oppression and "sometimes" depression. For an example, there are times when a believer desire something in their life, to such a great degree that the unknown way in which it might be obtain becomes their only reason for living. If they cannot have that in their life, consequently everything around them becomes obsolete. This can turn out to be a hindrance in that person’s life. In most cases, God is blessing that individual in other ways, the other blessings might just be His plan to bring them into that which they desire. Yet, for the lust of their heart, they care less for any other blessings in their life. If it is not a particular desire of their hearts, therefore they cannot move forward. (they are hindered) They are in the present, but living in an unknown future, or a past they won’t let go of. (We’ve all been there.) The flesh is selfish, if it cannot get what it lusts after or desire, after a while it will take over and spew poisons in the believer’s life. Or as science would refer to it as chemicals. This usually leads to depression, or the constant struggle of oppression. Clarification, this is not the only cause of depression. Things of extreme matters inflicted upon a person by another, this will at times turns into depression; if they try to bear the burden themselves. However, thank God we have a friend in Jesus. Hindrance is not a denial of progression, but with the right mindset by faith, it is an opportunity to start over with faith in the Lord. Like the poem of 1855: What a friend we have in Jesus All our sins and griefs to bear And what a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer Oh, what peace we often forfeit Oh, what needless pain we bear All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged Take it to the Lord in prayer Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness Take it to the Lord in prayer. More

A Christian who desires to cast a demon spirit out of a person, is a noble idea, but the problem is; Christians cannot be demon posses. 1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? The Holy Spirit cannot be in a person while demons live along side with the Spirit of God.
