- AngelsIn General discussionsMay 29, 2018This is a subject worthy of a book of its own, of which there are many out there. Nevertheless, it is better to stay away from most of those written materials dealing with angels. As humans, our fascination of a subject that is beyond our grasp, it is usually elevated to a supreme platform. In the case of angels, let us not forget they are created beings. We do not worship them or pray to them. The misunderstanding of this, will usually result in the entering into a supernatural-occult realm, wherewith, individual invite spirits into their lives and homes. Assuming they are in a close relationship with God, but are entertaining evil spirits. For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14) With that being said, Biblical Angelology - The study of angels from a Bible perspective isn't wrong. There is a blog post dealing with the subject you can follow here. Or an outline of Angelology below. They are created beings with individuality who exist in the spiritual dimension, but angels are not limited to the physical universe. Angels have, and show emotions Job 38 verse 7 Angels show humans abilities, such as eating Genesis 19:1-3 Angels desire to learn the complete work of Christ 1st Peter 1:12 Angels learn of the grace of God through the Christian fellowship with God That is to say, we are a school house for angels, yes, they do learn Ephesians 3 verse 10 Angels work and function in set, like a military with structures and ranks, more so than bad angels. Ephesians 6:12 Bad angels have influence on certain humans. 2 Corinthians 4:4 Ephesians 2:2 There is such thing as a guardian angel, but by the will of God, angels are guidance to those who put their trust in God Matthew 18:10 All accounts of angels reveal, they are in the male form Never a female angel Angels are not sexless Genesis 6:2 An angel has the ability to travel at the speed of light consequently, one angel can travel around the earth about seven times within a second Ezekiel 1:14 Rest assure, when you as a believer says, Jesus, save me! Before those words leave the lips. An angel has already come, and done its work by the command of the Lord.50
- AngelsIn General discussionsJune 1, 2018I never thought of the Giant Cherubim, as they are called. Nice you brought them to memory. A unique lesson from them and the previous ones, the smaller Cherubim. They were attached to the end of the Ark of the Covenant. They looked down on the Mercy Seat, where the blood was splattered. In essence, they represent God. When He look down on us. If we plead the Blood of the Lord, He doesn’t see all our wrong doing, guilt error, and sin. He sees the Blood. Hence, Exodus 12:13, when I see the blood, I will pass over you. Years later the Giant Cherubim look outward, symbolizing the coming future Kingdom age of righteousness, all was made possible at Calvary. Concerning Ephesians 6:12, It is a military statement, as well as an athletic battle from an ancient Greece standpoint. When the Apostle Paul wrote “we wrestle not against flesh and blood” that is to say, the struggle we face at times as a Christian, it is not a physical problem. Although we feel the physical reaction, but the cause is from the unseen. Not human, (flesh and blood) but wicked spiritual forces. The wrestle spoken of here isn’t what we have today, like the WWE and such. Rather, the opponents fought until one overcame the other by placing his hand on his opponent’s neck as a sign of defeat, then the eyes were gouged out, resulting in blindness. This is the state most Christians find themselves, defeated and blind spiritually. Forsaking the only source wherewith victory is received. At the Cross, this isn’t an elementary doctrine. It is the way of life. (Colossians 2:14-15) Now to the military aspect of Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Within the verse above are four ranks. Principalities represent the beings who are rulers of the highest rank in Satan’s kingdom, these are powerful fallen angels. Powers represent the rank below Principalities. The Greek word is “exousias” meaning authorities, as in receiving power to execute the will of a leader. Rulers of the darkness of this world, are ranks beneath Powers and Principalities. Spiritual wickedness in high places, these are the lowest, but are not the least active. For they are demon spirits. Unlike God who is everywhere at once, Satan cannot be, therefore they act as his minions. The “high places” spoken of here does not refer to Heaven, but rather the lower atmosphere surrounding the earth. Further insight to this is seen in the passages of Ephesians 2:2… The ruler of the authority of the air, spirits and spirit who now controls the people who disobey God.50
- NegativityIn General discussionsAugust 20, 2018@Pink, I will never wish death upon anyone. So, this was shocking to read. I'm a Christian who work with many negative people. That is my job, I love these people, God knows my heart, I sincerely care about these people. But even for me, there are times all the negative effects that I endure, daily. It takes a toll on me. I don't have a local church, so I come on here to fellowship, and I'm forever thankful. I can't express the things I feel from all the negativity I'm surrounded in daily. This is while I posted the topic on here because other Christians might understand what I'm going through. I enjoy trying to help others, but there are times the negative effect from the people I work with, it effects my personal life. I’m not used to online social gathering, but on here I feel safe. I know the internet is an open-door policy. So, let me state this clearly. I never wish death upon anyone and I never will. It hurt my heart to even write this. I am just looking to chat with other believers, escaping the burden of my work.50

- Who are the 144,000 in Book of Revelation? In Posting questionsJanuary 1, 2019The 144,000. Are from the twelve tribes of Israel. 12,000 from each tribe. Those who teach that they are the 144,000, for the most part they are not even Jewish. There are some denominations under the banner of Christianity who claims their members are the 144,000 of Revelation. Then there are those, less heard of, but with a firm grip on their followers, they elevate themselves as the source for becoming a part of the 144,000. Wherever the Bible is not the primary source for teaching and discernment, it is a break for men to usurp their beliefs upon others for the sake of control and power. The more Bible the believer knows, the less likely they are to fall victim to denominational control and the regression of incorrect teaching. The Lord said, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Nevertheless, even in our lack of knowledge, He still considers us His people. So then, let us act as one. We can’t know all things at once, but it is better to know some truth than no truth at all. As previously stated, the 144,000 are from the twelve tribes of Israel. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit reaffirms that these are of the tribes of Israel. Knowing that men throughout the ages will pridefully attempt to elevate themselves as those of the 144,000. Consequently, the Holy Spirit went on to list the names of the tribes. Revelation 7:5-8 1. Juda 2. Reuben 3. Gad 4. Aser 5. Nepthalim 6. Manasses 7. Simeon 8. Levi 9. Issachar 10. Zabulon 11. Joseph 12. Benjamin The Misconception of the 144,000 Many assume, the 144,000 represents salvation, thereby, those that are not a part of this group are condemned. On the contrary, their selection by God, does not spell doom for the rest who are not a part of this unique group. Rather, they are to serve a special purpose for God. The tribe of Dan is omitted from the list, and Joseph is inserted in its place. The reason for this is unknown. However, there are certain clues to give us an insight to the reason for their selection. One speculation is, the tribe of Dan in its early days was the first to introduce idolatry among the tribes, for this reason, many years later they are omitted from the 144,000, some assume. However, was not Samson a Judge for his people according to the will of God? Indeed, and Samson is from the tribe of Dan, and He was allowed by God to serve in the highest office among his people. Furthermore, Samson is listed in the Faith Hall-of-Fame of Hebrews Chapter 11. So then, perhaps such assumption holds some indication, but without a solid validation for the omitting of Dan from the 144,000. Another assumption for the omitting of Dan is, it is believed the Anti-Christ will be from the tribe of Dan. Through deception, many of the Jews of the end time will accept him as the messiah, thereby elevating the tribe of Dan above his brethren as the ruling tribe. With corrupt power, it is virtually impossible for men to accept anything that is not in-line with their belief, making it impossible for the tribe of Dan to be groomed by the Lord to serve His cause through the selection of the 144,000. These are assumptions, but for the fact, this we know, the omitting of Dan does not imply everlasting damnation. For all the house of Israel will be eventually saved according to the words of the Lord . . . And so, all Israel shall be saved: as it is written . . . (Romans 11:26) Let this be a lesson to us, though we are temporarily omitted at times from the things of God. Whatever it may be, due to our wrongdoing, but there is Hope by Grace through Jesus Christ our Lord.50
- The judgement seat of Christ and the great white throne judgementIn Posting questionsSeptember 3, 2018Great White Throne Judgment The relation between the Great White Throne Judgment and the Judgment Seat of Christ is, they together consist of the word “judgment.” However, a closer look at these events will reveal their differences. One consists of the verdict of condemnation, this is the Great White Throne Judgment, found in the 20th Chapter of the book of Revelation. Note, the earlier mentioned of the Throne of God in the book of Revelation, we are given the description of a rainbow around His Throne, like unto an emerald (greenish) The Rainbow represents God as a covenant keeping God, and a reminder to those who are a part of His covenant that destruction shall never befall them. However, at the Great White Throne Judgment, there is no mention of a rainbow around the Throne of God. This gives us an insight concerning those facing the Great White Throne. They are not a part of God’s covenant, consequently, anyone who shows up at the Judgment, is already doomed. There are two types of books mentioned at the Throne. One record every action, acts, deeds, and even the thoughts and imaginations of every human, are continuously recorded in Heaven. The second book is the Book of Life. Who are these being judged? We are told they are small and great. The word “small” used here do not imply children. Rather, a status, rank or social class, an upper class or a lower class. All their sins, and deeds will be openly shown to them, without an excuse for their condemnation. As recorded in 20:12, They were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Then the Book of Life will be used, wherewith, their names are not therein, they shall be cast into the Lake of fire. That is to say, eternal separation from God and those things they once knew, and the people they once were acquainted with. The body shall engulf in excruciating, unbearable pain, but the memory of the mind shall not fade. Every second in hell, they shall remember, if only I have accepted the free gift of salvation I wouldn’t have been here. Nevertheless, they are there for eternity.50
