- Is guilt wrong or good?In Posting questionsFebruary 3, 2019As a Christian, when there is a guilt, it must come before remorse or regret. Not the other way around. The guilt reveals the wrong, then the regret is set on course to make it right. Sadly, certain individuals have it in the opposite, and this is unhelpful and a hazard to the well-being of the person. If the individual feels remorse and then guilt, likely they won’t let go of the feeling they feel, this will gradually consume who they are. When guilt shouts to the believer and say, you are wrong. In a humble spirit, our remorse and regret say, Lord, take my wrong and make it right, by your grace. I cannot bring about the change on my own, but I am trusting you, for I know you can. “Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to Thy Cross I cling. Illustratively speaking, guilt says you are wrong, but remorse and regrets sets you on the path to make it right, through the Lord. However, if the mind feels regret, but is overshadowed by guilt, such mind is blinded from seeing the Grace of God, in the depth of sorrow it dwells. Both words (Guilt and Remorse) bring to mind the same idea, but they are not the same. Like your question, can a person be guilty without remorse? Yes, in the case of legality, a criminal can be found guilty, without them feeling any regrets for their action. Consequently, such individual will not change from immoral to moral. However, The LORD is near to those who are discouraged; He saves those of a broken spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers them out of them all.7

- Father's Day 2022In Happening Now·June 20, 2022Before 1972 establishment of Father’s Day: The earliest recognition of Father’s Day was observed on July 5, 1908, by Grace Golden Clayton, who arranged a Church service to honor all fathers, in memory of her father who was a Methodist minister in West Virginia. Afterwards, another event was celebrated on June 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington by Sonora Louise Smart Dodd. In honor of her father, a Civil War veteran, William Jackson Smart. Her strived in a petition was eventually supported by the Young Men's Christian Association. The YMCA. The beginning of Father’s Day as we know it today. Observe, both occasions for the case of Father’s Day were led by women who acknowledge the role and the importance of fathers. Not because they are lesser than the men, but when common sense for the natural order of life and living is upheld, great things happen. Secondly, observe closely, the two men acknowledged. One was of moral integrity, with spiritual values, a preacher. The Second man was that of a true grit, a hero, a patriot, and a veteran. When these simple bedrocks for society are forsaken, being a man and a father become offensive to the masses. Wherein our young boys are without an identity but become drunk with emotions without logic. Inclusiveness, but without a purpose. Purposeless without true affection. The many problems of today. Nevertheless, it takes one solution to solve many problems. And on this day, we acknowledge the fathers and the boys, the future men, and the fathers for tomorrow. Happy Father’s Day. A father that is an honorable gentleman is an example to behold, and it is he who rises to the occasion for those he watches upon. In his hand lies their foundation, for therein, he relies on the Lord, through faith, for the impartation of morality and responsibility for the future. Fathers, hold her up high now, lest she be held low tomorrow, by the wrong hands6019
- Warning Against Neglecting SalvationIn A variety of Expositions ·November 22, 2020Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. Hebrews 2:1 That is to say, we must hold firmly unto the Truth of the Gospel, so that it cannot slip. The idea here in the Greek, it is a picture of a ring on a finger that is slipping and sliding off the finger until it is fallen and lost. A ring is that which is important to the wearer for the cause of which he or she wears it. So is the believer in relation to the Gospel and with Christ. Like a ring, let us be grateful and aware of the reason it represents, by holding on to it dearly. So shall the Gospel and Christ be unto the believer. Ten Safeguards for the Believer. Hearing Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. Hebrews 2:1 Heeding Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. Hebrews 3:12 Exhorting But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:13 Fearing Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. Hebrews 4:1 Laboring Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Hebrews 4:11 Holding Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23 Considering For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Hebrews 12:3 Lifting Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees (Praise) Hebrews 12:12 Making And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Hebrews 12:13 Obeying Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Hebrews 13:176031
