- Is guilt wrong or good?In Posting questionsFebruary 3, 2019The presence of guilt is the evidence of wrongdoing. Guilt is not wrong, but it is the signal that there is a wrong which must be made right. We live in an imperfect world; the realization of wrongdoing may serve two purposes. The individual will dive deeper into atrocity and iniquity, or it may serve as a platform to acknowledge the guilt, by attempting to do that which is right. The mistake is when guilt is connected to feelings, guilt is more than a feeling, it is the demand of a responsibility and the bearing of the consequent of the actions. However, no one is capable of undoing the cause of guilt, but God. For if we as human were capable of undoing the cause of guilt, shall we not also be able to prevent the many reasons of guilt? Therefore, unless guilt is acknowledged on our part as individuals, by looking to a solution greater than who we are, which is God, guilt will always be wrongly viewed as a feeling. For this reason, when there is a guilt of sadness, happiness is sought after by doing happy things as a means to eradicate the feeling of the guilt, but to no avail. Whereas, others through Stubbornness, they are driven into a deep denial. Or where there is no God conscience, guilt will cause hardness to the feeling of the individual. In order to avoid those consequences and more, we must all allow God to deal with our guilt, and sin. Guilt is not necessarily a sin, but the presence of the human guilt, is the evidence of a wrong action or actions. So then, in the awareness of guilt, rather than attributing it to a feeling, let’s ask the questions of the cause, the motive and consequence. Then we can take the responsibility, not as a burden to bear, but looking to a greater solution by taking it to the Lord in prayer. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged Take it to the Lord in prayer Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness Take it to the Lord in prayer80

- JonahIn Posting questionsApril 25, 2019@k.dees Well the men on the ship (mariners), the wind and the sea, they all served the purpose of restoring Jonah. The men on board the ship, typified the world. Sometimes it takes the persecution of the world to get the believer to do what they need to do. They threw Jonah overboard. However, he wasn't swallowed immediately by the great fish after he was thrown overboard into the sea. He actually sunk to the bottom of the sea. Likely the ship at this point wasn’t in Deep-sea because in verse 13, we read, the men tried to get the ship to shore, rowing with all their might, but the storm was becoming worse and worse, and they got nowhere. So, Jonah was thrown overboard. Although, the ship likely wasn’t at Deepsea, but due to the velocity and the high turbulence of the sea, it likely took Jonah quickly and far from where he was thrown off, causing him to sink at the bottom of the sea. You can read this in Chapter two verse six. At the bottom of the sea, it was then when the great fish swallowed him. Now, concerning the fish, it wasn’t your ordinary fish. The Scripture referred to it as a “great fish” for a reason. The word great, carries two main meanings in this situation for the fish. 1. Something that is very large. 2. something of an old origin or great age. Notice, Chapter 1:17, it said, the Lord “prepared” the great fish to swallow up Jonah, not that it was created at that moment, but likely a creature of an ancient origin that was still roaming the unknown depth of the sea, and was supernaturally prepared by the Lord for this purpose. So much to say, but you get the point. :)8
- Was there any time that Jesus refers to Himself as God?In Posting questionsJune 17, 2019@Grace Nightingale if you don't mind I will jump in and ask a question. Why was "he" added after the I AM? I think it kind of take away the boldness of the name.8
- What is the difference between tithe and offering? In Posting questionsJuly 23, 2019Tithe is the percentage of giving one’s income, precisely a 10 percent. Whereas, offering is a spontaneous giving without a minimum confinement, or a maximum limitation. Concerning Tithe At first glance, the understanding of the concept is that a tithe, or 10 percent was the giving amount of everything from the land. This will be the modern equivalent of 10 percent of the giver’s income. The purpose of tithing will give the reason thereof. Tithes are not to be viewed as a burden, rather it expressed love and trust in God, and the gratitude for what we are a part of and the support for the cause of the Gospel, by supporting those who bless us and supporting those who bring the Gospel to us and others. According to Numbers 18:21, tithes were to be used as the people give to maintain the Levites. The Levites would be today’s equivalent of those in charge of a Church, mission work or whosoever aid others in their growth and learning of the Word. Herein, the believer supports this cause. Partaking in tithing True tithing will become a reality within the giver, through their awareness of being a part of something greater than they are, and their gratitude for the blessings they received. Therefore, they become a willing participant to support and bless others that others will be blessed in return. Let those who are the recipient of the tithes, in no ways demand of others to bless them for the work they are doing. Instead, continue to do that which is good unto all. For those who received, with thankfulness they will bless others. Such was Abraham, the father of the Faith. Having returned from a victorious battle, he was met by Melchizedek, king of Salem, who blessed him with food and drink. Melchizedek did what he had to do, for it was the right thing to do. Therefore, in return, Abraham blessed Melchizedek, king of Salem, and a priest of the Most High God. Hebrews 7:1 Concerning offering An offering is a voluntary contribution without any limitation of how little or how much is given. The Old Testament Church was that of a Sovereignty through the nation of Israel. Today, the Church is Universal, (without replacing Israel) Therefore, offering serves as a crucial pillar of upholding the Church and its Gospel through the offerings of its members, one to another. Without a rule of a specific requirement to be given, now, all can give freely.80
