PROTECTION IS PREPARATION

God is faithful to protect those who are called by His Name, His people. (Psalms 46:7)

As God's people, protection is not a luxury, but rather a provision for proclamation. God did not protect Elijah in the Brook Cherith as a mean of a leisure time during famine and precaution.

Neither did He protect Moses from the power of Egypt for 40 years, in order for him to sail into the sunset happily ever after. Instead, when we are protected by God, we learn not to fear those things we feared that we are protected from. That in due time we may learn about the Grace and Power of God and boldly say, Thus saith the LORD God.

(Exodus 9:13)

Like in the written lyrics of Ray E. Heady:

In The Shelter Of His Arms

When my soul was troubled with sorrow And my heart was broken within Jesus opened His arms of mercy And He tenderly took me in

There is peace in the time of trouble There is peace in the midst of the storm There is peace though the war be raging In the shelter of His arm

There is peace though the war be raging In the shelter of His arms Though this war all around be raging And it is filled with many, many alone Trust in Jesus, He will keep you In the shelter of His arms

In closing, the Words of the Master, is the sure solid foundation.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

(John 16:33)
