Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.
Without patience you cannot endure. And what is kept in your heart will positioned you to be in the right mind or the opposite thereof.
The word kept, used above is the word tēreō, which implies to attend to carefully, to watch with the eyes, to prevent from escaping.
Considering this is how we have to keep the Word of God.
Keep to prevent escape
So then, are you careful about those things you read? What is in your heart is based on how you see things. Turn your eyes to Jesus. Away from the many things that troubles you, of which you cannot fix. Looking at those things that you desire that are not yet ready will only cause anxiety to your being.
But to those who look to Jesus, His words shall become a reality. To you, and in you.
As the current world is constantly changing for the worse. You shall find peace and understanding beyond the many problems. His patience shall be in you and you will endure.
Endurance means better days and things are ahead of you.
But without patience it is impossible to endure and without your focus on the Lord, impatientness shall be your companion and anxiety shall be the evidence.
Change is coming no matter how long it takes, but being patience with Christ's focus is your key to endurance.
