First of all we have something to understand which is a Test.
Test is: The action of testing someone or something to know its qualities, verify its effectiveness, know how it works or reacts, or what result it produces.
In 1st Peter 1: 7:
"So that when your faith is put to the test, much more precious than gold, which though perishable is tested with fire, it may be found in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed,"
Why are we tested? What is the purpose of the test?
The test, although it hurts and sometimes we do not understand, is to form in us a character, a faith, a foundation in love for God! what? But if God is love how can I be passed on purpose by this !! This we ask ourselves, well we can see that as in the process of gold (metal) so that it dazzles, falls in love, shines and its real value in money goes through a purification process passed through several cleaning processes but the most important and last "put it through the fire" it is impossible to obtain a clean, pure, precious garment without this process.
Likewise, we are in the test, the ugly, the dirty, the wrinkled, the imperfect come out, what hinders God from our humanity, but there is a great difference between metal and us 'metal has no will' we If we have positions, thoughts, desires, free will, it depends on us that in the test 'we are putified, taught, molded or just the opposite.
Because if we let ourselves be molded, our faith will be strengthened, we will be prepared to work in the mold that God wants.
He is the potter "Jeremiah 18: 5-6"
Because it happens to us, through the test only for love and for salvation. Our Faith has a reward in life for salvation, yes because we cannot pretend to receive or see the Holy One of Israel in his sublime trone, with all this humanity, sin and carnality that we are born by nature ..
1 Peter 5: 3 says:
Because everything that is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith.
It is worth going through the test, it is worth passing the process, in the midst of all asking for the strength, guidance and help of the Almighty and recognizing our weaknesses, our sins, our fears which God will strengthen us in his power and his Holy Spirit.
Ephesian 6: 10-13;
10For the rest, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Vestíos of all the armor of God, so that you can be firm against the schemes of the devil; 12For we do not fight against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual malice on high. 13Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, so that you can resist in the bad day, and having finished everything, stand firm.
Brothers, friends May we open our hearts to trial and let God work and mold our Life, to the praise and glory of his name.
