We have have a person of a negative effect in our lives or sooner or later we will meet one. As a Christian is it worth enduring their negative attitude?
We have to understand, in the world, not everyone out there wants a change in their situation. They feel better when they draw others into their bad mood. They have the will to attack others through hate or anger, but they’ll refuse to realize the need for a change in their life. They gain attention through self-inflicted sorrow, by this means to control those who sincerely desire to help them because of your love to do the right thing by loving them, they will hold you captive.
We do not walk away from everyone who shows a negative attitude, but first seek the Lord before you proceed. If all they want to talk about are the negative things, you as a Christian have many things to be thankful for, so give thanks to the Lord in their presence. Those who truly want a change, they will inquire more concerning your testimony. Those who do not want a change, they will walk away from a positive report. Through this, you saved yourself from the heartache. Nevertheless, keep praying for them.
Concerning the Christian, let us not confuse weariness, or oppression with negativity. We are weary at times, but we ought not to be negative. We are oppressed at times, but we do not spew hate. Instead, we give praise to the Lord, not for the fondness of the oppression, but we know weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Let not the Christian say I am negative, harmful, damaging and unwanted because of the experience of oppression or being weary. Oppression and weariness are the attack on your faith because you are on the right path. Therefore, continue therein.

@Handfulgaze, the daily reading for today 08/20 in the bulletin delt with this topic to an extent. You should read read it and use some of the contents to better prepare yourself for world out there. Now that Pink revised her statement, we can continue together like before. God bless.
@Pink, I will never wish death upon anyone. So, this was shocking to read. I'm a Christian who work with many negative people. That is my job, I love these people, God knows my heart, I sincerely care about these people. But even for me, there are times all the negative effects that I endure, daily. It takes a toll on me. I don't have a local church, so I come on here to fellowship, and I'm forever thankful. I can't express the things I feel from all the negativity I'm surrounded in daily. This is while I posted the topic on here because other Christians might understand what I'm going through.
I enjoy trying to help others, but there are times the negative effect from the people I work with, it effects my personal life.
I’m not used to online social gathering, but on here I feel safe. I know the internet is an open-door policy. So, let me state this clearly. I never wish death upon anyone and I never will. It hurt my heart to even write this. I am just looking to chat with other believers, escaping the burden of my work.
Amen, man with the words @PSW. I was thinking just that haha, well said. You express things in the simplest ways and insightful.

You are welcome @handfulgaze no offense taken. I’m glad it woke up certain things within you, for the best.
Thanks @Eric and @Tracy, I read the devotional you mentioned and that was what truly reminded me of my work condition.
It is not a negative comment to @PSW either, it reminded me what I'm going through, thank you.
No problem @Pink, anytime will be fine with me.

Well clarify... I'm not saying ignore those who need help. But we need to be equipped to help others and only God can equip us. We all need help.
@Handful, spend more time reading your Bible than trying to help. We all need help and it's in God's word.
