At times, we are our own obstacle of a problem, but knowing what we have become, let us look to the Lord for the freedom so desperately needed.

All of this is captured spectacularly through the artist's expression of evaluation for a change

To the left of my making, is the wall of confinement. In confinement, having ascended the mountain of self-will and pride through insubordination to be free, for the determination to succeed, therein is the realization of self.  The old man of self-obstacles, tired, but unyielding, wise, but to mischief, passionate, but meaningless. To these, what cause shall there be a change? Not any. The determination of self-will became the realization of the self-obstacles. Determination is necessary to succeed, but without a focus beyond what I am, all that I am is all I see, without a change. Then to my right, beyond the old man is the absence of confinement, but as the self-will of pride brought me to the mountain of obstacles, so shall humility lead me down the stairs of transition. In lowliness I am beneath, but for the freedom to ascend and soar the boundless heavens, stretched by His hands. The hand that was pierced for me, is the hand that inspired me.
